Two parts make one whole
Bio: There is a great sense of accomplishment that comes from seeing a project through from beginning to end. I love having a tangible project for my work and art allows me to have this. By day, I work in the business world and am involved in bits and pieces of many large projects, but rarely get to experience that "start to finish" rush. Knitting is my outlet from the "real world". I grew up creating and crafting, and decided to try my hand at knitting a few years ago. I am self-taught and the whole journey has been wonderful. It's amazing to go from the first scarf, to learning how to read a pattern, to writing your own patterns! My advice to new knitters: be persistent, buy a book and trudge through- you'll be surprised what you can create!
